Training for The Harbor, a refugee sponsorship program

Julia Kevon and World Relief will be giving a short training for those interested in volunteering to work with refugees in the Nashville area. Volunteer opportunities may include teaching English, helping with household tasks (how to pay bills, use appliances, clean an apartment, drive a vehicle, etc.), tutoring students, or being on call to move new families into apartment homes.
You can plan the times that you help around your schedule. We encourage you to co-sponsor a family with your spouse, family, roommates, home group, or friends. The purpose of this ministry is to use your community to provide a support for people who are new to the United States.
